{"id":1459,"date":"2007-12-12T16:10:49","date_gmt":"2007-12-12T16:10:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/Wordpress\/?p=1459"},"modified":"2007-12-12T16:10:49","modified_gmt":"2007-12-12T16:10:49","slug":"new_office_equipment_cuts_cost_of_printer_cartridges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/News\/articles\/new_office_equipment_cuts_cost_of_printer_cartridges","title":{"rendered":"New office equipment &#8216;cuts cost of printer cartridges&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/office-machines-supplies\/c-2420\">Office machines<\/a> that waste money through the use of excess Paper and inkjet cartridges by higher quality printing settings can be tamed, it has been suggested.<\/p>\n<p>        IBM and <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/Ink-Cartridges-And-Toners\/Ricoh\">Ricoh<\/a>&#8216;s InfoPrint Solutions joint venture has revealed a new <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/\">office supplies<\/a> product called Intelligent Print Control (IPC) that will help save firms money by automatically selecting the appropriate printer settings for each document, reports iTWire.<\/p>\n<p>        The product is also designed to assist <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\">office equipment<\/a> users who have to waste time going through a number of windows to ensure that their <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/Ink-Cartridges-And-Toners\">printer supplies<\/a> less ink or double-siding printing for a particular document, indicated Bruce McLennann, director of IPC distributor Print Associates (PA).<\/p>\n<p>        Any model of printer will work with IPC, which functions by assigning a printing profile for each <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\">office equipment<\/a> user, he said.<\/p>\n<p>        Printing preferences are then stored and the product will recognise words such as draft or final in documents to ensure that the right settings are used, Mr McLennann added.<\/p>\n<p>        By ensuring the required use of inkjet cartridges and Paper, IPC will result in at least a 30 per cent reduction in the direct cost of printing for <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\">office equipment<\/a> users, according to the Print Associates website.<\/p>\n<p>        At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/\">office supplies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\n        <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Office machines that waste money through the use of excess Paper and inkjet cartridges by higher quality printing settings can be tamed, it has been suggested.
