A corporate social responsibility (CSR) report has been released by office machines<\/a> manufacturer OKI.<\/p>\n

Some of the positive steps taken by the office products<\/a> manufacturer included promoting CSR on a local level in China, encouraging blood donation as a social contribution and contributing to thin-film bonding technology for dissimilar materials.<\/p>\n

In addition, the office equipment<\/a> firm stated its "areas of focus", which included improving customer satisfaction, communicating well with shareholders and investors, ensuring employees are respected and looking out for the environment.<\/p>\n

"I am pleased to release our third Social Responsibility Report, to widely disclose our CSR activities and gain trust and understanding from our stakeholders," commented Keiichi Fukumura, senior vice president at Oki Electric Industry.<\/p>\n

He explained that the OKI Group Charter of Corporate Conduct was established in October 2005 to improve the "corporate value" of the firm, after which the first report on the office supplies<\/a> company was put together.<\/p>\n

"We made efforts to enable readers to easily understand our activities by updating OKI’s achievements and including comments from employees around the world,” Mr Fukumura added. <\/p>\n

OKI manufactures a range of office supplies<\/a> and office equipment<\/a>, such as printers<\/a>, copiers and printer cartridges<\/a>.<\/p>\n
