Office machines<\/a> manufacturer Fuji Xerox Printers<\/a> has announced plans to increase its sales by more than twofold by the end of the next fiscal year.<\/p>\n

The office equipment<\/a> company, which is the second largest of its kind in the Philippines, has ambitious plans to double its sales by March, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reports.<\/p>\n

By that point, its goal is to sell 10,000 units in the country, according to James Henderson, managing director of Fuji Xerox Printers<\/a> for the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n

He told the publication that sales have grown from approximately 1,000 in 2004 – when the office products<\/a> firm entered the country’s market – to 4,000 units in 2006.<\/p>\n

"We used to focus just on the enterprise market, but now we are bringing high-end technology to the consumer market at competitive cost," Mr Henderson remarked.<\/p>\n

"We are new in this segment and have much room to grow, so we are optimistic."<\/p>\n

Over the Christmas period, the office equipment<\/a> manufacturer introduced a new colour printer, the DocuPrint C1110, which the organisation said was targeted at the small business and home office market.<\/p>\n
