The founder of a leading office supplies<\/a> company has announced that the firm is to increase its environmentally-friendly range of office equipment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

US-based company Dolphin Blue already promotes the use of environmentally-friendly office products<\/a> by selling a range of green Papers, along with office furniture<\/a> made from recycled products.<\/p>\n

However, founder and chief executive officer Tom Kemper has said that his company’s office products<\/a> will now be at least 40 per cent manufactured from recycled materials, up from the firm’s current 20 per cent target.<\/p>\n

A new range of eco-friendly office supplies<\/a> are to be launched by the company later this year.<\/p>\n

Mr Kepmer told a conference at the University of Texas: "Paper and Paper packaging are the number one volume commodity entering the waste stream. By using products made from recycled content, we save energy, reduce emissions and preserve our forests.<\/p>\n

"These tremendous benefits accrue from the use of recycled-content Papers and other office supply items when used in place of virgin-material products. It makes sense for not only those of us now living, but also for future generations, our progeny."<\/p>\n

Mr Kemper started Dolphin Blue in Dallas in 1993.<\/p>\n
