The Crufts of the printer supplies<\/a> world was held last night, with the Xerox 8265 Colour Wide Format Printer scooping a Best of Show award.<\/p>\n

AIIM\/On Demand Conference and Exhibition is a yearly event that aims to recognise and promote technological innovations in the document and imaging industry through its Best of Show Awards.<\/p>\n

Designed as a commercial print provider, Xerox 8265 won the award for best wide format printer at the awards, which are divided into nine separate categories.<\/p>\n

Vice president of marketing for the Xerox Production Systems Group Valerie Blauvelt said: "The Xerox 8265 opens up an entirely new set of high-value print jobs for customers looking to complement their current capabilities or enter the expanding graphic communications color wide-format market."<\/p>\n

The Xerox 8265 can be used in conjunction with a wide variety of media and produces vibrant graphics via a mixture of eco friendly and inkjet cartridge technology, which will last up to three years.<\/p>\n

It also incorporates specially designed inkjet cartridge heads which use interweaving print technology to produce sharp, clear and crisp images, while keeping ink usage low.<\/p>\n

Xerox is the world’s best known and biggest document management technology and services business, valued in excess of $17 billion (£8.46 billion).<\/p>\n
