One of the world’s largest technology firms has launched a new programme designed to help increase the number of office machines<\/a> and printer cartridges<\/a> that are recycled around the world.<\/p>\n

The Samsung<\/a> PrintCycle aims to help businesses reuse old office products<\/a> and replace those which have a harmful affect on the environment with more eco-friendly office machines<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All of Samsung<\/a>‘s future office machines<\/a> will be more environmentally-friendly, using new technologies to minimise the impact on the planet.<\/p>\n

Jay Shears, director of marketing and digital printing systems at Samsung<\/a>, said: "Samsung<\/a> is continuously trying to find ways to be environment friendly.<\/p>\n

"By offering easy ways to help the business professional support environmentally safe options, we are providing a service to our customers and a continuing commitment to the environment."<\/p>\n

Last month, Samsung<\/a> launched its new CLP-660ND office produces, which use inkjet cartridges to print documents at speeds of up to 25 pages per minute and contains expandable 128 Mb internal memory.<\/p>\n

The one-touch duplex print option for double-sided documents comes as a built-in standard feature to minimise wasted Paper.<\/p>\n
