Many workers across the world are increasingly conscious of the environment when using office supplies<\/a> and office products<\/a>, a new poll has discovered.<\/p>\n

According to a study by Smead, 77 per cent of employees said that buying Paper office products<\/a> made from trees grown and harvested in a sustainable manner was important to them.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, 69 per cent stated that they would switch brands of office supplies<\/a> if they found out about non-green manufacturing processes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, 26 per cent of those quizzed said that their companies had green guidelines regarding eco-friendly office supplies<\/a>, while 42 per cent said that they had asked their employers for the same measures.<\/p>\n

Sharon Avent, Smead president, said: "We take great care to implement practices and procedures that are right for the environment and right for our customers."<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, a study found that many workers across the world are becoming increasingly aware of the environmental aspects of using office machines<\/a> and office supplies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to a survey by office machines<\/a> manufacturer Xerox, 40 per cent of those polled said that their top pet peeve about colleagues was mindless printing resulting in abandoned pages at the side of office products<\/a>.<\/p>\n
