Valentine’s Day – love it or hate it – is around the corner.
Do you love all the Valentine’s hearts and flowers? Or would you rather hide until it’s over? Maybe you prefer celebrating love with friends, family, or pets.
At Paperstone HQ, we did a Valentine’s “this or that.” Surprisingly, it got a quicker response than our company satisfaction survey! Priorities.
Most of us at Paperstone are in relationships (not with each other… well, mostly). It was fun to see what people preferred – whether they were in new relationships or long-term ones.

We also shared stories of epic fail Valentine’s gifts.
One lucky lady received supermarket flowers the day after Valentine’s. They were battered, missing petals, and still had the yellow “reduced” sticker. Total cost? £1.50!
Another lucky person got a beanie from their partner’s ski trip. It had the name of the resort printed across the front. Thoughtful? Maybe not.
But the winner of the wackiest present goes to the “potato with four cocktail sticks and a print out of his face stuck on it.” Move over Mr Potato Head.
