Inkjet Cartridges
Inkjet printers offer a lower priced alternative to laser printing, and
Paperstone offer a full range of inkjet cartridges for all types of inkjet
printers from any manufacturer. Inkjet printers all work by using a moving
‘head’ to spray very small amounts of ink onto the page, but inkjet cartridges
vary widely across different printer models and manufacturers. If you are unsure

printer. For colour printing usually cyan magenta and yellow are combined on the
page to produce different shades of colour. Reservoirs of each colour, along

inkjet head into the cartridge while in other makes or models the head will be
part of the printer.
Toner Cartridges

photocopiers use the principle of electrostatic imaging. Toner, a fine
statically-charged powder consisting mainly of pigment and plastic, is applied
to charged paper to recreate the desired image. The page is then heated which
causes the toner to melt and bond firmly with the paper before leaving the
printer. Colour laser printers work by the same means, with a separate pass for
black, cyan, magenta and yellow toner. Monochrome printers will require only a
black toner cartridge, whereas colour printers will likely need toner cartridges
for each of the four colours but it may be possible to replace them individually
as they run out.
Fax Supplies
