'Students the target' for new office machines

Office machines manufacturer Lexmark has unveiled a new range of office products geared towards the home and student users.

The Lexmark Z2420 Wireless office products allow people to print documents at high-speed and at a high quality for an affordable price. Installed within ten minutes, the "easy to use" office equipment prints at speeds of up to 25 pages per minute.

Also launched is the Lexmark X3650 All-in-One, which can print, scan and fax documents all with an "easy" one-touch display.

Paul Rooke, Lexmark executive vice-president, said: "Lexmark is focused on removing customer 'pain points' with robust products that deliver a great printing experience for every customer.

"Our new home and student line offers freedom of mobility on printers that are very easy to use. In addition, they include industry-leading lifetime phone support and we have wrapped them up in a sleek new product design."

Last month, Lexmark launched its new X550n and X560n multifunction office products give business customers access to high-quality, professional colour printing and increased productivity in an easy-to-use multifunction device, the company claims.
