"Sharp" office machines unveiled by Canon
21/03/2008 20:31
Canon has unveiled a new large format range of office machines aimed at businesses which require heavy-duty office equipment.
The new imagePROGRAF iPF605 is the latest in a line of office products which can produce high-quality pictures and documents and is an affordable solution for personal and small workgroup users.
According to Canon, the office machines can link into a network of other office products and will work with both Microsoft's Windows and Apple's Macintosh computers. A range of inkjet cartridges are also available for the office products.
Jim Rosetta, vice-president and general manager of imaging systems at Canon, said: "Today's technical markets demand sharp, clear and eye-catching prints to make an impression and deliver a powerful message.
"The new imagePROGRAF iPF605 will print the most detailed architectural, automotive or product development design renderings accurately, sharply and precisely."
Earlier this month, Canon launched four new office machines aimed at companies that have little space in which to operate.
The new imageCLASS MF6540, MF6590, MF6595 and MF6595cx office machines allow businesses to copy, scan, fax and print documents with one piece of office equipment.
