Office machines 'produce high-quality printing'

One of the world's largest office machines manufacturers has unveiled a new addition to its range of office supplies.

The new Canon PIXMA MX850 Office All-In-One (AIO) combines printing, copying, scanning and faxing capabilities and is suitable for the home or the office environment.

Currently available in the US, the office equipment manufacturer plans to launch the product - which has a sleek and stylish look - in the UK next month.

The multi-page printer doubles up with a state-of-the-art photograph processing centre which includes improved printhead technology to produce high-quality photographs.

Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager at Canon, said: "Canon has a long history of providing products that meet the needs of the marketplace.

"With the PIXMA MX850 Office AIO printer, consumers can experience the productivity of an all-in-one that serves as the office by day and still enjoy vivid photographs from the same all-in-one becoming a photo lab by night."

In related news, Canon has also launched the PIXMA iP2600 photo printing office machines range. The system can produce up to 22 pages of colour photographs per minute and produces a 10x15 cm borderless photo in just 55 seconds.
