Office machines company scoops 2 awards

A large global office machines manufacturer has received two prestigious awards at a major ceremony in the US.
Xerox kicked off the 2008 Photo Marketing Association Show in Las Vegas by winning two Digital Imaging Marketing Association Innovative Digital Product Awards for the company's range of office products.
The Xerox DocuColor 5000 Digital Press was recognised for its innovative technology and its environmental stance, while the Xerox FreeFlow Printer Server with JPEG plug-in scooped an award for its easy-to-use design, standing it apart from a host of other office machines and office products.
Xerox launched the two new office machines ranges at the end of 2007 and has received praise from throughout the office supplies industry for the products.
A statement from Xerox stated: "The new configuration of the Xerox DocuColor 5000 Digital Press maximises productivity by enabling print providers, photo retailers and labs to print and finish materials in-line, resulting in complete photo specialty products coming off the end of the press and ready for customers."
Last month, Japanese printer supplies firm Fujifilm and Xerox unveiled a new range of office machines designed to help high-quality photograph printing.
