New office machines 'aimed at small companies'
18/02/2008 17:06
One of the world's largest technology companies has launched a new range of office machines designed to meet the needs of small to medium-sized businesses.
Samsung's new CLP-660ND uses inkjet cartridges to print documents at speeds of up to 25 pages per minute and contains expandable 128 Mb internal memory.
The one-touch duplex print option for double-sided documents comes as a built-in standard feature to minimise wasted paper.
Jay Shears, director of office automation at Samsung, said: "The low cost of ownership along with high-performance colour printing, built-in toner and paper-saving features makes the CLP-660ND one of our most compelling professional series colour printer offerings to date.
"This printer adds to our commitment to bring affordable professional printing color solutions to business."
In related news, Samsung has overtaken its rivals Nokia and Sony to come third in a global survey of brand recognition.
The study by Deloitte found office machines manufacturers HP and Dell to be among the top ten most recognisable consumer technology brands in the world.
