New office equipment software launched

Printer suppliers have launched new printer software today, aimed at simplifying the process of constructing and changing printing recipes.

Exerra Inc. has introduced the new software which it believes will make the time-consuming and complex process of setting up NPI in SMT manufacturing a thing of the past.

The software employs a new, easy-to-understand user interface and step-by-step configuration process to allow even the novice user easy access to advanced features such as solder paste and stencil handling, it claims.

Simple, clear instructions are given to guide the user through every stage of the process including entering PCB dimensions, alignment and stencil cleaning options.

The final fiducial teach process is automatically completed in order to simplify the process further.

Existing Exerra printer users can be upgraded to include the enhanced software package, which may prove to be the next big thing in office equipment software.
