Lexmark office products receive award

One of Lexmark's most popular ranges of office machines has been awarded a prestigious prize by a major industry publication.

According to PC World magazine, the Lexmark X500n is one of the top five colour laser multifunction office machines on the market at the moment.

The publication, which is based in the US, cited that the X500n has a "good overall design and performance" and gives small businesses and workgroups access to high-quality colour printing, copying and scanning at an affordable price.

According to the office machines manufacturer, the Lexmark X500n prints at speeds up to 31 pages per minute (ppm) in monochrome and eight ppm in colour.

Marty Canning, Lexmark vice-president, said: "The Lexmark X500n is a powerful printer, consolidating many document functions and enabling customers to reduce their environmental footprint and boost productivity.

"We are proud to have the Lexmark X500n acknowledged on PC World's list of top five colour laser multifunction printers."

Earlier this month, Better Buys for Business gave accolades to Lexmark's C530 and C532 series of office products for their rapid speed and affordability, calling them "another Lexmark breakthrough in speed and price for colour laser printing."
