22/03/2008 21:35
Office products manufacturer Kodak and the world's largest retail company have joined forces to help improve the recycling of office supplies and inkjet cartridges. The deal with Wal-Mart will see recycling points being introduced to all of its stores across the US, with further developments planned for its UK Asda stores, The Recycler reports. Nicki Zongrone, general manager of retail systems solutions at Kodak, told the news provider: "We are thrilled to be working with our long-time partner, Wal-Mart, on this important sustainability initiative. "Kodak has a long record of responsible behaviour related to environmental issues and this initiative is a world's first in the photo kiosk business. Together, Wal-Mart and Kodak are helping to make the planet a better place for our children." Last month, Kodak received a supplier of the year award from Wal-Mart for its innovations in the photo centre and electronics sector, after working with the retailer in its 3,500 stores in the US and its Asda stores in the UK. The range of Kodak office products is available at all of Wal-Mart's stores after a long-lasting link-up between the two companies. At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office supplies.
