Epson training day for users of office machines
11/01/2008 15:22
Office equipment manufacturer Epson has announced that it is launching a training day to help users get more from their office machines.
The Epson Print Academy will be led by office products expert Jonathan Briggs, who used to be the managing director of the Association of Imaging Techniques and who also boasts a range of experience with Epson office machines.
Some of the topics set to be covered include printer driver options, Photoshop colour management settings, using RAW or JPEG files, colour perception and using ICC output profiles to produce monochrome documents.
There will also be an interactive question-and-answer session featuring a panel of Epson office products experts.
Following a previous session of the Print Academy, one attendee commented that it "filled some very important gaps" in their knowledge.
Meanwhile, another remarked: "I went away with a very good basis for using my R2400 much more efficiently."
Originally launched for users of the Stylus Pro 3800 office machines, the training day was expanded due to popularity and demand - and now covers a wider variety of Epson office equipment.
The Print Academy takes place in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, which is Epson's UK headquarters, on January 16th and 17th.
