Epson office machines 'use fewer printer cartridges'

Office equipment manufacturer Epson has announced that its Stylus Photo R290 office machines will be sold on the Indian market.
The office equipment can print at speeds of up to 37 pages per minute for A4-sized text documents and at 38 pages per minute for colour documents, the company claims, as well as producing 4R photos in 12 seconds.
Printer cartridges used in the machine are promised by Epson to help protect against fading for up to 200 years if the photos are kept in the proper storage conditions.
Additionally, Epson states that the office machines use fewer printer cartridges, as individual cartridges mean that they only have to be replaced when they are completely used up.
Regarding ink, the office equipment utilising Epson Claria Photographic Inks, which the company claims are of high quality.
Meanwhile, PhotoEnhance software has been design to automatically correct certain common photo flaws, such as contrast and colour, while Epson PortraitEnhance addresses facial definition and skin tone.
