Epson celebrates after office equipment awards success

One of the world's largest office products manufacturers is celebrating scooping two major awards at a prestigious London ceremony.
Epson's Stylus R1900 A3 office machines were named as the best expert photo printers in Europe 2008 by the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) by a judging panel of industry experts.
Meanwhile, Epson's Stylus Pro 11880 was named as the best large format printer in Europe for this year by the judges.
Khalil El Dalu, general manager of Epson Middle East, said: "Epson's double win at the TIPA awards provides us with another reason to celebrate in 2008.
"Epson has a heritage of groundbreaking imaging products and these awards prove that the company remains at the forefront of meeting customer needs and developing landmark products."
Earlier this year, Epson launched a campaign to increase the recycling of inkjet cartridges after they have been used in office products.
Epson's Return&Recycle programme aims to limit its impact on the environment, as each set of inkjet cartridges can contain harmful toxins, with various chemicals being used in the toners.
