14/09/2007 16:41
Office equipment manufacturer Xerox has signed a deal to supply office machines and print services for Europart, it has emerged.
As part of the seven-year scheme, Xerox Global Services will manage the car and machinery parts supplier's printing service beginning in March 2008, Print Week reports.
Some 600 departmental office machines, including scanners, printers and faxes will be removed from Europart when Xerox takes over the management. They will be replaced with 232 networked multifunction Xerox office machines.
Additionally, the office equipment firm will be charged with producing Europart's documents, which include pamphlets for sales and marketing.
"We have been extremely impressed by both the advisory skills and creative solutions that Xerox has offered us," Europart director Alexander Graf von Matuschka-Greiffenclau commented, according to the news provider.
Some of Xerox's existing Premier Partners in the UK include Hewitt Digital, Adare and Image Data.
Recently, Xerox attended Graph Expo in North America and exhibited a range of new products - both office machines and software.
"We're a recognised leader in the print industry and we're taking innovation to the next level," Quincy Allen, president of Xerox Production Systems Group, said at the time.
