Toshiba launches new office machines

Office equipment manufacturer Toshiba has introduced two new office machines into its product range which is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) and home offices.

Both the e-STUDIO180s and e-STUDIO200s function as printers, scanners and copiers in single multifunction devices.

According to Toshiba, the office machines would be suitable for low-volume users who are looking for quality and reliability, as well as a reduction in clutter which is provided by the multifunction devices.

In addition to its basic functionality, the e-STUDIO180s offers black-and-white printing speeds of 18 pages per minute, while the e-STUDIO200s provides additional capabilities for faxing.

"Having a single all-in-one multifunctional product for SMB and home office use can be much more economical than buying four separate machines," commented Jamie Mackenzie, a product manager at Toshiba.

"We want to ensure that users can take advantage of the best printing, copying and scanning solutions available."

He added that both of the office machines "are very much tailored to small office use both in terms of size and productivity".

Toshiba manufactures a range of office equipment, which range from printers to fax machines and digital document management products.
