Ricoh introduces new office machines
16/08/2007 16:47
Ricoh, which manufactures office machines such as copiers and printers, has announced that it will be launching a number of new products in the coming months.
One of the pieces of office equipment to be introduced is the Priport DX4640PD, which is billed as the world's first duplex digital duplicator.
"Ricoh is also set to bolster its wide-format family with the addition of two high-performance, small-footprint devices," the company said.
These two office machines - the Aficio MP W2400 and MP W3600 - are aimed at copy shops, CRDs and drawing rooms which need to produce wide-format jobs.
"Both new machines are supplied with an 80 GB hard drive, enabling users to reproduce documents without needing to re-feed sometimes irreplaceable originals," Ricoh claimed.
Director of marketing for Ricoh UK and Ireland Chas Moloney said that he hopes the new office supplies will help the company remain competitive.
"Ricoh has made significant inroads into the professional print market over the past 18 months and these latest announcements will ensure that we maintain this momentum," he said.
Ricoh specialises in office machines such as copiers, printers, scanners and fax machines. It says it takes "an innovative approach" to research and development and claims to have invented the first digital black and white copier.
