New Kodak scanner 'responds to customer needs'
15/08/2007 17:10
A new scanner which has been introduced by office machines company Kodak has been designed to respond to customers' needs, the firm has said.
Details of the Kodak s1740 Capture System were announced at The Association for Work Process Improvement 2007 Forum and Expo.
"We designed the s1740 Capture System in response to requests from customers who are seeking to solve business problems and improve productivity through a single, total solution from a brand they know and trust," said Lois Powell, director of capture solutions and document imaging.
She suggested that businesses which must sort documents by categories may benefit from the new office machines.
Such organisations may include those with centralised batch-scanning operations such as customer service, magazine subscription services, payment and invoice processing, mailroom operations, among others.
Ms Powell said that the new office equipment was showing how a "fully-integrated system" which includes a scanner, operating software and a capability for inline document separation "meets [organisations'] process requirements while saving them time and money".
The scanner has a continuous feeder which can take up to 1,400 sheets, as well as a mix of paper size and weight.
In addition to scanners, Kodak manufactures other office machines, including printers. It also makes printer cartridges, cameras and film, among other products.
At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office machines.
