New CIJ inkjet printer range from Hitachi
03/05/2007 15:54
Hitachi has launched a new range of continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers and claims to have set new performance benchmarks in the process.
The Japanese electronics specialist has unveiled the PXR series, adding that it has 30 years experience in CIJ, as well as an extensive background in computer products and inkjet cartridges.
Ian Luck, managing director of UK distributor Euromark Coding and Marking, said the PXR printers offered "class-leading print speed", with outputs as high as 700 metres per minute.
Hitachi claims the CIJ printers offer exceptional reliability and value and suggest that its PXR systems respect the environment too.
Mr Luck said: "In our experience users find existing Hitachi machines totally trouble-free and economical on both consumables and servicing.
"With the PXR range we are building on these values and users will also appreciate the additional benefit of speed and convenience."
Hitachi was founded in 1901 as an electrical repair shop and has developed into one of the world leaders in new retail technology.
The company specialises in computer and printer supplies, but also produces a range of other products including batteries, mobile phones and power tools.
At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of printer supplies.
