A professional printing firm has spent £1 million on improving its equipment and offices.
First 4 Print Finishing, based in Blackburn, has invested the cash so that it can improve its service to customers, according to its managing director David Nestor.
Around £750,000 has been spent on relocating the firm to a new office environment, with a further £250,000 splashed on new equipment, including an industrial size guillotine, two paper bending machines and two paper folding devices.
Further expansion is also scheduled to take place in the coming months, according to Mr Nestor, who said: "We will be acquiring further equipment in the coming months to meet anticipated demands.
"Our success has been based on providing an excellent service to our customers that totally meets their requirements."
The industrial size office equipment has already been installed at the firm's new 3,500 square metre site, including a Heidel¬berg Polar 115 flowline guillotine.
The Polar 115 guillotine will provide First 4 Print Finishing the ability to produce more accurate and precise work, with Heidelberg claiming that it can improve efficiency by as much as 30 per cent.
At Paperstone, we stock a range of guillotines for your office.
