Epson R380 photo printer unveiled
14/06/2007 17:06
Japanese printer supplies company Epson has recently unveiled its new R380 Ultra HD Photo Printer.
The printer supplies specialist has released the model as a mid-range machine, between the lower R260 and top-line RX580.
It resembles an all-in-one style model, featuring an LCD display and 5-in1 card reader.
The R380 features memory slots for PC-free printing, which Ken Sander says is "very cool and convenient" in a Crunch Gear review.
"Then, there is an excellent 3.5 inch LCD to view /preview your pictures. These two features make the R380 truly a special stand alone photo printer," he continues.
Epson's latest model adopts its MircoPiezo print head technology, which helps it deliver excellent picture quality.
The printer supplies giant has made it possible to print from a media card, with images flashing up on the LCD display for previewing.
And the machine also lets users print from videos, as well as print off labels for CDs and DVDs.
"The cost of the R380 is under $200 (£100) and that in itself is almost unbelievable," added Mr Sander. "The prices of printers in general are incredibly low."
At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of printer supplies.
