Binder added to Konica Minolta office machine

In a bid to cut the cost of office machines for businesses, Konica Minolta has announced that is has enhanced one of its bizhub PRO models.
A binder unit has been added to the bizhub PRO 150, with the revamped office machine known as the bizhub PRO 150e.
By using the attached PB-501 perfect binder unit, businesses will be able to produce covered A4 booklets at an hourly rate of 6,300 impressions using hotmelt gluing technology.
In addition, the printer unit can also create 105 A4 prints in 60 seconds.
Jos Kelly, head of Konica Minolta's production print division, said the new machine with its five configurations is the "enhanced version" of the "groundbreaking" bizhub PRO 1050".
The unit offers a "great opportunity" to businesses who are aiming to achieve higher levels of production, Mr Kelly added.
