Mac users reveal their favourite printer supplies

Just one per cent of Mac users worry about the cost of printer cartridges, according to a recent study.
Konica Minolta polled 100 Apple Mac owners at the recent MacExpo 2006 to find out their choice of printing solution.
And only one of those questioned by the printing firm admitted to giving thought to the cost of printer cartridges when choosing an inkjet or a laser printer.
Inkjet printers were by far the preferred choice for Mac users, with 62 per cent saying that they owned one.
This was coupled with the news that just two per cent had problems with their printer jamming, seemingly a glowing endorsement for connecting an Apple Mac to other office equipment.
Mark Lloyd, the managing director of Konica Minolta Printing Solutions, claimed that he was surprised by the prevalence of inkjet printers due to the higher cost of replacing printer cartridges.
Mr Lloyd said: "I was surprised to hear how many Mac users rely on inkjets, seeing as it costs many times more to print a colour document using an inkjet than it does with a colour laser printer."
A quick look at the online Apple Store reveals that the top-rated printers amongst the Mac community are from Epson, HP and Canon.
