The cutting mats supplied by paperstone are designed for use in the office or home office and come with several
features. All of our cutting mats have three layers, one hard layer between 2 softer layers - to provide a safe and easy to
use cutting mat. Our cutting mats and cutting boards are made from a self healing material that re-closes after each cut.
All of our cutting mats have a metric millimetre grid on one of the sides to aid in measurement whilst cutting.
The main reason you would use a cutting mat is three-fold. The first reason is to protect the surface below the cut and prevent any damage to it. The second reason to use the cutting mat is so that the friction helps hold the item that is being cut in place. The final reason is to keep the blade sharp and to prevent and damage to it
