Am I better off with inkjet cartridges or laser cartridges?

The down side is that they do not last as long, and are less cost effective. Inkjet cartridges tend to be used by home users, who do not need the economies of scale afforded by laser cartridges. Most offices will use laser toners as they are the most cost effective form of printer cartridge.
