Post-it notes are useful, and most of us like to keep a few handy.

But 14,000 of them stuck all over the house?

That was the scene that greeted newlyweds Jamie and Emily Pharro when they returned to their Lincolnshire home from honeymoon in Italy.

Friend and practical joker Paul Stanley had spent eight hours placing the little yellow stickers on every available surface of the Pharro’s home.

He had even rigged up a camera to capture the couple’s reaction as they walked through the door. The footage has been posted on You Tube where it has clocked up 130,000 views.

It’s not the first time that Mr Stanley has pranked his friends though. Last year he and six others filled a living room with 3,000 balloons to surprise another couple who had been on honeymoon.

Perhaps Mr Stanley wasn’t the best choice of mate to take on the job of feeding the cat.
