DataBot hard drive expands with memory usage

DataBot is a project created by Jan Barth and Roman Grasy in which data usage is represented in new and very tangible ways in three-dimensional space. DataBot harddrive expands and contracts according to memory use. DataBot mouse communicates properties of data by braking and breathing. The force of the braking increases with the size of the file or folder the cursor is passing over. The mouse also “breathes” at various intervals according to the frequency of use of a file or folder.
