The discovery of a mouse on board a plane at Stockholm caused a flight to Chicago to be grounded. The mouse was spotted on the Airbus A330 before passengers boarded the morning flight.

The presence of rodents on a plane poses safety hazards because the small beasts like nibbling on important cables.

“For safety reasons, you don’t board when there’s a mouse on board,” explained a spokesperson for the SAS airline, Anders Lindstroem.
