Henry with BOSS Business Technology Award 2010

Paperstone has picked up a top Business Technology prize at the prestigious BOSS Industry Awards 2010. The BOSS (British Office Supplies and Services) Federation is the authoritative body for the UK office products industry and its annual awards recognise excellence in all areas of office product commerce. The Business Technology Award is given to companies who have demonstrated innovation and improvement in the areas of web development, systems technology and ecommerce. Paperstone won the award in the “up to £5 million annual turnover” category.

Since joining Paperstone in 2007, Henry Barker, Paperstone’s IT Director, has worked tirelessly and successfully to improve shopper experience and website usability and this latest prize is reward for a particularly strong technology performance in 2009.

“Winning the BOSS Business Technology Award is a nice surprise, though we’ve worked very hard towards achieving excellence in web development and ecommerce,” said a delighted Henry. “The award vindicates this hard work and recognises that investment in technology is essential.”

The gong takes Paperstone’s trophy tally up to four in three years. Co-Director Max Trotter Landry won Boss’ Young Professional of the Year in 2008 while the company as a whole recently won the 2010 IDS Web Dealer of the Year having also won it in 2009.
