Mills and Doom, fig. n. an office romance, frequently one which is considered unlikely to last or otherwise detrimental to both parties.

Example: “Have you been feeling the chemistry between Loreal and DeShaun from Accounts? I think they’re about to embark on a Mills and Doom. There’s passion there but no longevity.”
