Anti-Homeopathy ‘Mass Overdose’ Protest

At 10:23 am, 30 January 2010, over 300 homeopathy sceptics will swallow entire bottles of ‘pillules’ to protest against Boots’ continued endorsements and sale of homeopathic remedies and to raise awareness “about the fact that homeopathic remedies have nothing in them.” According to the website of the 10:23 Event organisers – whose strapline is, “Homeopathy – There’s nothing in it” – Boots themselves admitted last year that homeopathy doesn’t work but said they continued to sell related products because customers believe it does.
