Paperstone – Office life, work and fun

Have yourself a stationery Christmas

By Paperstone on December 15, 2009 in Office Supplies

Office supplies may not strike a festive chord in everyone’s hearts and someone being given a stapler by Santa is not a scene straight out of It’s a Wonderful Life. But it is an observation shared by all of us at Paperstone that people genuinely like being given stationery as a gift. Why? Because, no matter how much you were wishing for an iPhone, bottle of posh alcohol or a year’s subscription to WallPaper, you know that at some later point in time that you will USE that pad of lined Paper or three-pack of nice rollerball pens. Like the traditionally derided socks-as-gift, stationery is USEFUL.

What’s more, a stationery store like Paperstone is where you’ll find some of those gifts for the coming year – diaries, calenders and, if you push the boat out, Filofax . And we also sell a host of other products more than passable as gifts – briefcases, laptop bags, picture frames, computer supplies, CD/DVD racks, fountain pens, office furniture for the nascent home office, and more.

The best bit is that even on Christmas Eve our couriers, FedEx, will be delivering on our behalf, accommodating the most tardy of last-minute Christmas shoppers. The majority of our stuff is delivered the next working day all year round (though ALWAYS CHECK the box next to the products). Christmas Eve is the one officially working day of the year that we take off so, in the unlikely event of a problem with your delivery, there won’t be anyone in the office to answer your call. To avoid disappointment therefore, we’d recommend that you get your order in for next-day-delivery products BEFORE the 23rd to ensure you get your goods before Christmas. Just in case.

Happy Christmas Shopping!
