Multifunction printer sales ‘good’ in 2007
Office machines support services firm Printelligent has recorded excellent sales and growth during 2007, it has announced.
The company received the Hewlett Packard (HP) Silver Slugger award for exceeding 50 per cent year-on-year sales growth on HP‘s multifunction printer (MFP) range of office machines
Printelligent is an HP Gold Business Partner and aims to provide an "innovative approach" to office machine support.
This includes a cost per page solution encompassing all supplies and services, including HP print cartridges.
President and chief executive Mark Crosby said: "Our clients’ purchasing trends are validation to us that HP‘s multifunction printers are a viable alternative to traditional copiers in today’s business environment."
He went on to suggest companies could make significant savings on costs associated with printer cartridges and office machines through Printelligent’s focus of one brand – HP.
"We know businesses typically under-manage printing costs," he added.
Printelligent has appeared on the Utah 100 for five years in a row and anticipates expanding its services into specific markets across the US.
HP states that use of MFPs increases productivity, improve workflow and are easy to use.
It currently has several MFPs in its range of office machines that can print, copy, scan and fax.
