Guillotines ‘a new year’s gift for firm’

By Paperstone on January 8, 2008 in Guillotines

Guillotines were on the list of office equipment that needed replacing for the new year at a Blackpool printer.

RL Moulton and Sons purchased a new Perfecta 92TVC device in December, just in time to be used for new business in 2008.

Graphic Arts Equipment (GAE), which manufactures a range of guillotines, was the maker of the machine.

Dave Moulton of RL Moulton first saw the device when he visited the Northpoint exhibition of guillotines and office equipment in 2007.

"We saw the Perfecta with its slotless stainless steel bed and we liked the fact that it allows the stack to move more freely and reduces waste," said Mr Moulton, according to Printing Talk.

"It’s well designed and solidly built and it went straight to the top of the list."

The range of Perfecta 92TVC guillotines includes side tables with a touchscreen control with operator prompting, various cutting functions and a video-like display of the cutting procedure, according to GAE.

Mr Moulton explained that the printer was attracted to the guillotines because of several of their features, including the side tables and console.

The office equipment has contributed to getting three magazines finished "in record time", he added.

GAE was established in 1951.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office machines.
