Companies save money ‘by reducing use of office supplies’

Small businesses throughout the UK and the world can save money by cutting down on the amount of office supplies they use, according to a major office machines manufacturer.

Research by Lexmark found that by printing on both sides of a sheet of Paper – or buying long-lasting printer cartridges – small businesses can "significantly" reduce the amount they spend on office equipment.

The study – which questioned businesses in the UK, US and France – found that printing high quality documents quickly is important to 79 per cent of firms, while a range of office machines which can fax documents is essential to 70 per cent of small companies.

"At Lexmark, we are dedicated to providing reliable, high-quality printing solutions to meet the needs of any small business," said Marty Canning, Lexmark vice president and president of its printing solutions and services division.

Last month, Better Buys for Business gave accolades to Lexmark’s C530 and C532 series of office products for their rapid speed and affordability, calling them "another Lexmark breakthrough in speed and price for colour laser printing."

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office machines.
