Canon launches new multi-function office products

One of the world’s largest manufacturers of office machines and office equipment has launched a new multi-function device aimed at smaller offices and workgroups.

Canon’s new imageRUNNER C2550 office machines offer high quality, fast prints for companies which do not have much office space available to them.

The device supports an optional internal finisher that can corner or double-staple multi-page documents while it can also print at speeds of up to 23 pages per minute.

Sam Yoshida, vice president and general manager of Canon, said: "Given that floor space is at a premium in a majority of today’s office environments, the Canon Colour imageRUNNER C2550 is the right fit for many offices, delivering one device with the same capabilities that otherwise would require multiple systems and a lot of office space.

"Canon’s multifunction products tackle diverse needs across a broad spectrum of business sizes and sectors to provide a smarter and less expensive approach to color in the office."

Earlier this month, Canon announced it will work with technology firm eCopy to install document imaging software on a range of office machines previously made by the company, including the Canon ScanFront 220e network scanners.
