"Quality" office machines help bring photos to life
25/01/2008 16:31
A major office equipment manufacturer has unveiled a new office product which caters for the photo-printing market.
The new Canon PIXMA iP2600 uses an integrated print head which the office supplies company states gives the "finest" attention to detail in its class.
Aimed at small companies and the self-employed, the PIXMA iP2600 allows users to print documents and pictures simply and can print a 10x15 cm borderless photo in 55 seconds.
To be launched in shops around the UK in March, the office machines manufacturer claims the PIXMA iP2600 can produce 22 pages per minute in black-and-white, while the office product - which will be priced at £35 in shops - can produce 17 pages per minute in colour.
Mogens Jensen, head of Canon Europe, said: "In the entry-level photo printing market, print quality is key.
"Not only does the design of the PIXMA iP2600 communicate its quality, its high resolution photo-printing gives users exceptional looking prints for a great value package."
Earlier this month, Canon launched a new campaign to help companies and homeowners cut down on their environmental footprint. A new range of green office machines, printer cartridges and printer supplies will help firms become greener.
