25/02/2008 16:31
A major office machines company has been named as one of the world's most innovative businesses in a new study.
HP has beaten a number of the world's largest companies to a high position in Fast Company's top 50 list of innovative firms.
The magazine recognised that the office supplies manufacturer had developed a number of key office products over the last 12 months, after a $3.6 billion (£1.83 billion) investment into new technologies.
Michael Mendenhall, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at HP, said: "We're proud to be included on Fast Company's top 50 list.
"Our inclusion on the list reflects HP's strong tradition of innovation and reflects the hard work and success of all of HP's businesses."
Recently HP and computer manufacturer Dell joined up alongside over 300 other global companies for an environmental programme.
The Carbon Disclosure Project aims to increase efficiency in the supply chains of multi-national corporations, with emphasis put on the number of vehicles on the road and the amount of environmentally-friendly office supplies used.
At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office machines.
