New paper launched by office machines manufacturer

Office supplies
One of the world's largest office equipment manufacturers has launched two new types of paper which are compatible with a host of new and old office machines.

Canon's new paper - in glossy and satin formats - is designed to be used on numerous office machines, especially the company's line of imagePROGRAF large format office products.

A range of new technologies are used in the new office supplies, including a two-layer system which is employed in the premium glossy paper.

According to the company, the top layer is a thicker resin-coated, increasing the smoothness of media surface and reducing light reflection. The second layer promotes ink absorption, allowing the top layer to remain glossy and helps prevent ink from bleeding.

The new papers will be available in both light-weight and heavy-weight formats, weighing in at 200 gsm and 280 gsm respectively.

Last month, Canon announced it will work with technology firm eCopy to install document imaging software on a range of office machines previously made by the company, including the Canon ScanFront 220e network scanners.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office supplies.
