New office products 'allow firms to print on clothes'

Office equipment A major office machines company has unveiled a new office product designed to help businesses print corporate logos onto clothing garments.

Brother's new GT-541 Print on Demand garment machine enables businesses to brand t-shirts and other clothing.

The new office machines will link in with other office products through a network cable or a wireless connection and allow for easy use with a touch screen display.

Shinji Tada, managing director of Brother, said: "We have created a revolutionary garment printer that will allow users to print directly from a PC or flash card, minus the setup intricacies and high costs of traditional screen printing machines.

"The entire printing and fusing process takes around a minute per garment; this pioneering product thus makes the printing of a few pieces of t-shirts per order economically viable."

Earlier this year, Brother launched a major environmental campaign in a bid to reduce the carbon emissions from its office machines.

Brother is also the only office products manufacturer to have passed the Ethical Company Accreditation Scheme across its printers, faxes and all-in-one machines.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office products.
