Major award for innovative office machines

A major office machines manufacturer has scooped a prestigious industry award for a range of innovative office products.

Lexmark has been awarded the Better Buys for Business Innovative Product of the Year prize for its C935 series of colour laser printing office machines.

The office products can print at speeds of up to 40 pages per minute in colour and 45 pages per minute in black-and-white. The high-power "workhorse" - as the manufacturer describes the office machines - combines duplex printing and advanced finishing options.

A number of factors, including the features and retail price, have earned Lexmark the award, given out by the independent company to the most innovative and successful office products.

Stephen Hannaford, Better Buys for Business editor-in-chief , said: "The C935 product family puts together all the pieces.

"It's hard to imagine a departmental colour printer that could offer this much for such a moderate price. It fully deserves our 2007 Innovative Product of the Year award."
