07/06/2008 15:10
Office machines manufacturer Konica Minolta has signed a working agreement with rival office products company KIP UK.
KIP - the UK subsidiary of Japanese firm Katsuragawa - will work with Konica Minolta on a range of varying office machines over the coming years.
Many of the developments will come in the eco-friendly sector, with KIP well known for using toner efficient printer cartridges and printing systems.
John Howard, head of UK marketing for Konica Minolta, said: "With the addition of the KIP wide format printer range, Konica Minolta is able to offer customers a total solution package extending from our printers and multifunctionals, right through to wide format printers.
"We believe that with the addition of wide format, the Konica Minolta document imaging portfolio provides a one stop shop for all customer print needs".
Earlier this month, Konica Minolta and Oce - a Dutch manufacturer - agreed that they will work together on a number of projects and will market their office machines using the same agency and techniques.
Officially signed on April 4th, the deal will cover off office machines and office products manufactured by the two companies. No jobs will be lost at either firm.
At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office machines.
