HP scoops four office machines awards

One of the world's largest office equipment manufacturers has scooped four prestigious prizes at a major awards ceremony.

The subscribers to Wide-Format Imaging lauded HP in a number of categories, including heaping praise on the HP Designjet H35000/H45000, which was honoured with the best Wide-Format UV Printer award.

At the Reader's Choice Top Products Awards, HP's printer cartridges scooped best UV Ink, while the best dye or pigment went to the HP Vivera Pigment inks.

Meanwhile, the best overall product category was won by the Caldera VisualRIP+, for its unique software, while the best flatbed office machines award was won by the Durst RHO 800 Presto.

David Nathanson, publisher of Wide-Format Imaging magazine, said: "The Wide-Format Imaging's Readers' Choice Top Products Awards acknowledge the industry's best products and reveal trends and innovations that are having a substantial influence on our readers' businesses.

"We have some repeat winners as well as new products. Each deserves special recognition for how they are making a positive impact on our industry."

Earlier this month, HP joined a number of major office equipment manufacturers at the Photofair 2008 exhibition in Mumbai, with HP among the largest exhibitors at the show.
