Canon unveils 4 new office machines

Canon has launched four new office machines aimed at companies which have little space in which to operate.

The new imageCLASS MF6540, MF6590, MF6595 and MF6595cx office machines allow businesses to copy, scan, fax and print documents with one piece of office equipment.

All the office products incorporate a built-in network interface while, for optimal speed when printing and scanning, all four products provide a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface

Jim Rosetta, vice-president and general manager of imaging systems at Canon, said: "Real estate is limited in small and home office environments that require the same basic office equipment functionality as larger operations.

"Canon's expanded imageCLASS MF6500 Series offers a complete line of small and home office machines suited for any size workflow, with the availability to choose the optimal speed, capacity and value-added features all in a single device."

Last month, Canon launched its new DR-X10C office machines, which provide users with high quality image scanning, while it can scan colour documents at speeds of up to 128 pages per minute.
